Parkway Baptist Church loves you and faithfully prays for you.  Because we care deeply for you, PBC is beginning a new ministry of support for you and your loved ones: Caring Connections. 

Fellow Christian servants, Dr. Jay & Mrs. Lynn Stone of Bridgewater Psychiatry (also son of our own John & Jan Stone) will lead us in discussions as we share, listen, and/or minister to others through our own personal journey.  As instructed in Galatians 6, Parkway strives to walk with you as we intentionally develop this much needed and member-requested ministry.

Sometimes the changes in life leave us struggling with questions and burdens (or maybe we just need someone else to listen).  This "participant-driven" ministry will focus on your specific needs as caregiver, widow/widower, single parent, etc.  We're here to provide a listening ear, and as some have found, share ideas and resources -- uplifting our brothers & sisters in Christ.

In addition, bring your loved ones (those being cared for) to enjoy a time of fellowship and fun.  There might be a little singing, devotion, table-games time, etc...who knows what we might get into.  Since its also a time to relax, you may want to read a book or just shoot the breeze with friends.  And when you need a snack, make yourself a peanut butter & jelly or ham sandwich.  Let's fellowship!

Caring connections will meet from 11:00-12:00pm on scheduled Fridays (see Calendar). 

ALL of Parkway Baptist Church and our community are invited to join us for fellowship and conversation.  Nothing fancy...just gather with fellow Christians!

Please contact Bro. Dean if you need additional information or have questions about  Caring Connections and how you may serve with this ministry.  As well, invite others who would benefit from support while experiencing their own specific challenges of life.
